The Magic Kingdom Map That Disney WON'T Print | the disney food blog (2024)

A lot of things have changed at Disney World, and some of those changes have come from the need to socially distance guests.

But, One Thing That Hasn’t Changed Is How Great It is To See the Castle!

Right now, you can’t always enter or exit stores, restaurants, and other areas in Disney World the way you used to.Some doors may be blocked off and unavailable for use. And some lines may stretch FAR from where the ride entrance is located. We’re in the parks every day and we know how frustrating navigating some of these lines can be. So, we developed a totally FREE resourceto help youeasily navigate your way through the parks. This might just be the MOST useful map you’ll use in 2021!

Right now we’re focusing on Magic Kingdom. What we’ve done is developed a map for you showing the entrances and exits to stores, restaurants, and rides all around the park. The little green dots show the typical entrances to these locations, while the little red dots show their typical exit. This map is based on our experiences in the park, but, of course, things are subject to change. Note: If you click the images, they will pop in much larger in a new tab.

We’ll start at the front of the park. In the map below, you’ll see the Main Street, U.S.A. area of Magic Kingdom. Looking for the entrance to the Emporium? Check out that green dot on the corner near the front of the building on the left.

Next, our map moves to Cinderella Castle and part of Fantasyland right behind the Castle. You’ll notice that some of the map features little black arrows and dotted lines. Those represent the typical ways in which the lines for those areas/attractions will be located, particularly as they spill out of the standard queue area.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Fantasyland

This map shows you a bit more of Fantasyland and the area near Be Our Guest Restaurant.

Here’s a look at entrances and exits near Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. You can see, for example, that if the line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train extends beyond the designated queue area for the ride, it will generally then wrap around the ride to the right. So, if you see the line extending far beyond the entrance, you’ll know which way to walk to typically find the end of it.

Magic Kingdom Lines — More Fantasyland

Here’s a look at the entrances and exits for rides within Storybook Circus.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Storybook Circus

And here’s a look at how the entrances and exits are handled for rides and more as you move from Fantasyland into Tomorrowland.

For example, you can see how there are red dots near those side entrances at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe and only one green dot for the restaurant as you move further along the side of the building. So, keep in mind that you may have come into Cosmic Ray’s through other doors in the before times, but now the set-up has changed.

Magic Kingdom Lines — From Fantasyland into Tomorrowland

Moving further into Tomorrowland, you can see the entrance and exit areas for attractions like Space Mountain, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, and more.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Tomorrowland

Moving back to Fantasyland, we’ll now head from Fantasyland to the Liberty Square area.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Fantasyland to Liberty Square

In the photo below, you can see more of Liberty Square and into Frontierland.

Looking for how the line for Haunted Mansion might stretch if it goes beyond the typical queue area for the ride? You can see the green dot showing you the entrance to the ride, and the dotted black line showing you where the typical queue path will extend.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Fantasyland to Liberty Square to Frontierland

Then, our map moves further into Frontierland and into a bit of Adventureland.

One important thing to keep in mind is that these entrances and exits can change. For example, recently we noticed that Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafewas using a different entrance than the one we’ve typically seen (the one we’ve typically seen is what is shown in the photo below). So, while you’ll want to look for these to be the typical entrances and exits, things can change!

Magic Kingdom Lines — Frontierland

You can see even more of Adventureland in the photo below, but also little portions of Frontierland up above.Again, you can take a look at those green and red dots to show you where you’ll typically be able to find the entrances and exits to some of your favorite rides and restaurants. Note how the Pirates of the Caribbean line moves to the right of the building (if you’re looking at it from the top) when it extends beyond the designated queue area.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Frontierland to Adventureland

And finally, we end with a look at more of Adventureland.

Magic Kingdom Lines — Adventureland

Even if you’ve been to Disney World a million times, if you haven’t been lately, you might find it extremely frustrating to find the right entrance to your favorite restaurant, or you might find it really difficult to see where the line for your ride actually begins when it stretches SO far from the attraction’s actual entrance.

LOOK at That Line!!
