Diablo 4: How to Start Season 4

After making a seasonal character for Season 4 and either completing or skipping the main story, players will need to travel to Kyovashad. The green leaf icon can be seen on the map on the road to the World Tier statue where players can begin The Helltide Rises quest.

Blacksmiths perform four important functions: They can Salvage items that you don't need into Crafting Materials. They can Salvage Legendary Items to extract the Aspect and store it automatically in a player's Codex of Power. They can Repair your gear.

You unlock the Tempering System once you have access to the Blacksmith and have acquired at least one Temper Manual. Temper Manuals are consumable items that you need to use in order to learn the recipes for tempering. You can check the recipes you have already learned in the Codex of Power.

Different from Tempering, the Masterworking system raises the affix numbers already in the item, rather than adding new ones. In most Masterwork Ranks, the item receives a 5% increase in all affixes. But for ranks 4, 8, and 12, one affix is increased by 25%.

Although Orbs of Power can provide Guardians with a boost of energy to clear a heavy mob of enemies, Masterworked armor gives a permanent edge against the competition, reducing ability and super cooldowns, increasing damage resistance, and even granting faster movement.

The easiest class for beginners is either the Necromancer or the Barbarian, and there are pros and cons to each. Upgrading the item rarity of a good item to a Legendary one is one of the best ways to round out your build in the game. For example, if you have found a rare item with great stats and affixes, you can Enchant it at the Occltist to increase the Item Power, to make it even better.
