Does the Roomba 692 have mapping? ›

The Roomba 692 is not a Smart Imprint Map model. The Roomba 692 uses clean map reports to show you where the robot has performed the cleaning mission.

Unlike some other Roomba models, the 694 model doesn't have the ability to map your home and learn specific spaces.

Press the dock button on your Roomba.

Look for the “Home” button along the top of your device—this is a small, circular button to the left of the larger “Clean” button. Press this button once to send your Roomba back to its Home Base.

In the App, select the Map icon and click the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then Start a Mapping Run. Once your robot realizes it is in a new and unmapped area, it will create a second map at the end of the cleaning job.

In some instances, with these models, you may need to pick up your robot and move it to a new room so it can start cleaning. If you want your robot to return to the Home Base®, you would need to move the Home Base® to that room, and start the robot off of it.
